WHO WE ARE

A combination of Andrea′s experience and Alessandro′s spirit of innovation

MUSICAL ENVIRONMENT

AN ENVIRONMENT OF DEEP-ROOTED MUSICAL TRADITIONS CONSTANTLY PROVIDES US WITH INSPIRATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW IDEAS

Nestled between vines and olive groves, surrounded by the majestic Alps of the Aosta Valley, surmounted by the evocative castle of Montestrutto: it is in this picture-perfect landscape that our Atelier is located.
In these places, which have given birth and inspiration to internationally renowned orchestra musicians and composers, music has always played a fundamental role in people′s lives. The band is a long-standing tradition that has been accompanying festivities for centuries, helping bring an atmosphere of joy to the streets wherever they may be: the magic of music is also expressed in the band′s ability to unite people of different generations from all over, through the happiness that music brings that everyone can relate to. We are proud to be recognised as a local reference point for music and culture, with a reputation that our customers can rely on.

TEAM

ANDREA CHIAVENUTO

Founder and owner of Atelier degli Ottoni, Andrea (Andrew) developed a passion for music as a child in the village band, thanks to his trumpet playing father, and graduated in trumpet at the Cuneo branch of the Turin Conservatory. After playing and conducting numerous bands and ensembles, Andrea decided to crown his passion for brass instruments by setting up a wind instrument repair shop and workshop. After attending several workshops with master craftsmen in Germany, the Czech Republic and Switzerland, he perfected and developed techniques and the tools allowing him to improve the quality of his output, and grow professionally.
ALESSANDRO CHIAVENUTO

Andrea′s son Alessandro, also a trumpet player in marching bands and a keen music enthusiast, joined the company in 2024 after 10 years′ experience in the engineering sector in thermoplastic moulding companies and in the R&D of electric motors and inverters for automotives, where he learnt mechanical design, technology and business management.
His main goal is to expand the family business and offer exclusive products and services at affordable prices to everyone, whilst broadening the company′s horizons in all aspects of the business.
